At 801 Collectors, we live and breathe diecast cars. 801 Collectors started 5+ years ago by going peg hunting at Target, Walmart or any store I could and building my own personal collection. Soon, the world of Treasure Hunts and Super Treasure Hunts was discovered when a friend of mine told me the Morris Mini I had purchased was worth somewhere in the neighborhood of $60 at the time. Put it on eBay and had my first "flip" of $55 within a week. I started collecting more and more, learning more about the world of diecast than I ever knew was out there. I started purchasing Tarmac Works (Black Audi R8 LM and Pagani Zonda), Mini GT (full case of Pagani Huayra with Chase), and building more of a brand around the cars I had and the knowledge I had. Friends and fellow collectors started asking me what to hunt for, where to buy, can if I could help them buy. 801 Collectors took form. I have years of knowledge built up around a hobby I truly love. I love seeing the excitement when someone finds their personal car as a scale model or the joy when someone opens up a car to play with or add to a display case.
